• Data extraction / manipulation (like pinpointing relevant tables).
• Data visualization (such as crafting fitting charts and saving them as images).
• Drawing insights from the data in 5 key bullet points.

The results?

GPT-4 outperformed the intern and junior analysts in most areas but didn't quite catch up to the senior researchers.

Humans naturally had their perks, like being more adept at dodging errors and integrating contextual understanding. But GPT-4’s speed was impressive—it executed tasks 5-10x faster than humans.
