Welcome, humans.
Today we’re teaching you how to automate America’s (least) favorite pastime: meetings. Stay tuned for the goodies… 👀
Here’s what’s going on in the world of AI today:
- A tutorial on how to automate everything about meetings.
- We can now give ChatGPT context on who we are and what we want.
- Google is tinkering with an AI that writes news articles.
- DeepMind is using AI to design AI chips.

How To Never Take Notes During A Meeting Again 👇
Imagine a world where you never have to:
- take notes during a meeting
- summarize a meeting.
- update your team on a meeting.
…ever again. This means more time with the kids (for better or worse)!
Here’s how AI makes all of this possible:
First, meet Fireflies. It records your meetings from Teams, Google Meet, and Zoom and spits out transcripts. WIth one quick click, you get:
- summaries.
- action items.
- & defined tasks.
Plus, you can search for specific topics within meetings and rewatch them in case you overslept (don't worry, we've all been there).
Another great option is Otter — offering similar features and a smaller dent in your wallet than Fireflies.
*disclaimer: before you rush to buy either, just remember that Microsoft, Google, and Zoom are expected to roll out similar products over the next 12 months.
Once your meeting notes are ready, you can ship them off to your team using these Zapier integrations - no sweat needed.
Zapier is a bit more technical, so if you hate computers, stick with the tried-and-true copy & paste method into your group chat of choice.
And there you have it!
Don't forget to skim through our in-depth review of Fireflies for more pros & cons...

This AI Startup Has A Moat (& You Can Invest)
Now is a huge opportunity to invest in AI. Here’s the thing though: most AI startups have no moat and inflated valuations.
Here’s a fantastic startup offering The Neuron readers an early opportunity to invest:
Jurny is an AI streamlining hotel and short-term rental operations, targeting over $1 trillion (with a “t”) in inefficiencies.
They’ve already raked in $13 million from Mucker, Okapi, & more. OH, and talk about moats:
- unified dashboard.
- easy onboarding.
- automated processes.
Unsurprisingly, their user base has exploded 100% in 30 days, and they’ve secured $2.2 million in contracted ARR.
You Can Now Customize ChatGPT! 🥇
ChatGPT can finally remember who you are and what you want.
Say hello to “Custom instructions,” an exciting new feature that began rolling out yesterday. Here’s how it works: you give ChatGPT context so that it always responds how you want.
To enable it, go to settings → beta features → toggle “custom instructions” on → then tell it about yourself.
We recommend feeding it all the context relevant to your work (keep the private stuff private):
- examples of emails and reports.
- background on your ongoing tasks/projects.
- instructions on how to speak to colleagues & your boss.
The more information you feed it, the less nudging you’ll need to do when you start a chat. Let us know what you think!
