Here’s a quick rundown of when it’s optimal to use each chatbot at work:

Writing: ChatGPT-4 (the Plus version) is unrivaled when it comes to writing anything: research, content, and emails. If you can’t dish out $20/month, you can still access GPT-4 via Bing Chat.

Analyzing documents/PDFs: Use Claude-2. It can summarize and quote hundreds of pages of context from research papers to books.

Doing research: Bing Chat takes the lead if you're looking for credible sources and real-time information. ChatGPT is great if you want to learn about a new topic.

Analyzing Data: ChatGPT-4 with Code Interpreter is the champ for any data-related tasks. It can analyze files, generate any type of chart, and clean data.

Analyzing Images: Bard can “see” images you feed it, such as receipts and documents, but it tends to make sh*t up, so proceed with caution.

ChatGPT Outperforms Medical Students On Reasoning Exams 💉

To any parents paying $300k for their kid’s med school: I apologize in advance.

We know already that ChatGPT can pass the MCAT and USMLE.

This study asked it to complete clinically-relevant tasks at the level of 1st & 2nd-year students, like summarizing cases and creating problem lists.

The verdict:

GPT-4 scored way better than GPT-3.5.
GPT-4 outperformed students by 4%.

This was due to ChatGPT being better at creating problem lists than students.

Why it matters: There’s a dilemma here (creds Prof Eric Strong). The fact is, professionals across fields will inevitably harness AI, just like Excel is a workplace staple today.

However, when it comes to education, should educators teach students how to use AI as they study law/medicine/data, or ignore it so they don’t become too dependent on it?
